Since 2008 till now, Barak Obama has been working perfectly and the Americans have been showering their love on their President. 9 American Revolutionary War
The American Revolutionary war also called as the war of Revolution is one very important event in the history of the United States of America. The war is one of the longest running wars of all time. It lasted for about 8 years, 4 months and 2 weeks. The war began on 19th of April in the 1775 and ended on 3rd of September in the year 1787. This revolution began between the United Kingdom & thirteen colonies, later the war developed into a revolution between the newly formed United States of America, France, Spain, Netherland and Mysore. The American independence got recognition as a result of this long war. It is one of the most unforgettable event in the history of the US.

8 Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the USA was assasinated in April 1865. He is one of the most noted man in the history of the United States of America. He abolished hunger and poverty. Because of his constant efforts America became what it is today.
When Mr. Lincoln visited a play in April 1865, he was shot dead by the stage actor of that show. John Wilkes Booth, shot him with a pistol, on the back of the head. The actor believed that the president is the reason behind the poverty and hunger in the States. George Atzerodt, David Herold and Lewis Powell were his parterns in crime. They planned to kill the President, vice president Andrew Johnson and also William H. Seward, the secretary of state. But, managed to shot the president only.
7 Armstrong walks on the moon 1969
This is the 7th most memorable event in the history of the United States of America. The moment Armstromng landed on moon, every American went crazy with joy. Apollo 11, the spaceship that landed on the moon was carrying Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, a three member team, which set off from NASA. Neil Armstrong became the first person to step on moon in July 1969.
6 Manhattan project
This project ran during the second world war, when the Nazis were developing a very dangerous and deadly weapon and the Americans got a hint of it. To protect themselves from this deadly weapon, the United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom togetherly invented the 1st ever atomic bomb. Leslie Groves headed this Manhattan Project and the atomic bomb was developed after working tirelessly for 6 years. The project kept running for six years, from the year 1942 to the year 1946. Uranium 235 was used to vreate this bomb using a fission weapon of gun type.
5 Assassination of John F. Kennedy
John F Kennedy, the 54th president of the United States of America, was killed on 22nd November in the year 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated John F. Kennedy in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. Before the trial, Lee was murdered by Jack Ruby.

4 Louisiana Purchase 1803

In the year 1803, France declared that it was their terrirory and hence America paid $ 111,250,000 to France and also also cancelled their debts worth $ 3,150,000.
3 Death of Osama bin Laden
The person behind the attack of 9 /11 was killed by the US military. On May 1, 2011, Osama was laid to death in Abottabad. This event marked as a great victory for United States of America over terrorism. Not only the US, this event was taken positively across the world. This was America’s revenge for what he did to this country. People across the world were happy with event.
2 American Civil War
The American Civil War is one of the most important event in the history of the United States of America. This war was fought for 4 years. It began in the year 1861 and ended in the year 1865. It was fought between the union and the north state of America. As many as 600,000 soldiers died in this war and the south wing almost shattered.
Not only the Americans, but, no person in this world could ever forget what happened on 11th September 2001 in the United States of America. The mere thought of this event horrifies the Americans as well as non- Americans.
On 11th September 2001, 4 American planes were hijaked by about 19 hijakers. Two of these airplanes collided with the 2 towers of the World Trade Centre complex situated in New York. One of the planes crashed in Pentagon and the 4th plane crashed into water, but intended to attack the United States Capitol. About 2,977 people lost their lives, including the 19 hijakers.
